Seattle Seahawks Weekly Predictions

Matt Hasselbeck has played absolutely awful in back to back weeks throwing
eight interceptions and although Seattle will most likely look elsewhere
at QB next year, if Hasselbeck wants to play anywhere he must have a
respectable showing in the final game of the year. The last 3 weeks
overall have been a disaster for this Seahawks teams being outscored by
106-24 by the likes of the Texans, Bucs and Panthers. Justin Forsett and
Julius Jones have split the running duties evenly since Jones return to
the line up but neither of them will be noticed this week as Chris Johnson
will be in Seattle trying to break Eric Dickersons rushing record. Johnson
is 234 yards away from the record and will have a good chance against an
average Seahawks run defense. Vince Young will try to finish this season
at .500 after the team started 0-6 and although they are out of the
playoff hunt after the loss to the Chargers they will still play hard and
get Chris Johnson as many carries as he needs to get to at least 2,000
yards rushing. Although the Titans are playing much better football, a
late season flight across country will keep this game close for Seattle.

Prediction: Titans 23, Seattle 17

Breakout Player of the Game

Chris Johnson will get every opportunity to break Erick Dickersons record
this week and he’ll at least break Marshall Faulk record of most yards
from the line of scrimmage, needs only 75 yards.
