Big time performer late in games, can make most of the throws.

 

2        Sam Bradford               Oklahoma                 Jr          6’4”  216lbs.       Top 10

Upper echelon talent but durability has become a concern.

 

3        Jake Locker                  Washington              Jr         6’3”  226lbs.       1st Round

Great dual threat player with the most upside of any of the junior QB.

 

4        Colt McCoy                  Texas                        Sr         6’2”  213lbs.       2nd Round

Very accurate but lacks NFL caliber arm strength.

 

5        Dan LeFeavour          Central Michigan         Sr        6’3”  226lbs.      2nd Round

One of the most consistent QB's in college football but level of competition is a question.

 

6      Ryan Mallet                  Arkansas                   So        6’7”  240lbs.       2nd Round

The prototypical NFL QB that every GM loves but his youth pushes him down the list.

 

7        Tony Pike                   Cincinnati                  Sr         6’6”  226lbs.      3rd Round

Accurate passer with a big arm but durability is of serious concern.

 

8        Tim Tebow                 Florida                       Sr       6’3”  238lbs.        3rd Round

The ultimate competitor but lacks the skill set necessary to play QB in the NFL.

 

9        Jevan Snead              Ole Miss                    Jr         6’3”  220lbs.       3rd Round

NFL caliber passer but he's yet to show the leadership necessary to play the position at that level.

 

10      Jerrod Johnson          Texas A&M                Jr         6’2”  210lbs.      3rd Round

Fast rising prospect due to his ability to do so many things on the field.

 

11      Sean Canfield            Oregon State            Sr         6’4”  215lbs.       4th Round

Has all the tools to be successful but needs to be more consistent.

 

12      Jarrett Brown             West Virginia          Sr         6’3”  223lbs.        4th Round

Has a huge arm but struggles with accuracy.

 

13      Christian Ponder        Florida State           Jr          6’3”  218lbs.        4th Round

Very mobile with the arm strength necessary to make all the throws.

 

14      Bill Stull                     Pitt                          Sr          6’3”  215lbs.       5th Round            

Throws a great deep ball but struggles throwing intermediate routes.     

 

15      Case Keenum            Houston                  Jr           6’2”  210lbs.       5th Round

Excellent decision maker with lots of moxie but he has below average arm strength.

 

16      Colin Kaepernick       Nevada                   Jr           6’6”  220lbs.       6th Round

He's currently a better runner than a passer but has all the tools to be successful throwing the ball.

 

17      Jonathan Crompton      UAB                    Sr           6’4”  228lbs.       6th Round

Great arm strength and he's improved his decision making as the season progressed.

 

18      Tim Hiller            Western Michigan       Sr           6’5”  228lbs.       7th Round

Good size and a huge arm, but he's terribly inconsistent. 

 

19      Pat Devlin                Delaware               Jr            6’4”  220lbs.        7th Round

Great arm strength and quality accuracy but his level of competition will be in question.

 

20     Zack Robinson         Oklahoma State         Sr       6’3”  218lbs.        7th Round

Dual threat QB but his ability to make most NFL throws is in question. 

 

Sleeper 

         John Skelton                Fordham            Sr          6’5”  256lbs.        5th Round

Huge arm with an imposing frame; we shall see how that translates to the next level.
