FG's Power Rankings
| By: C.A.HunterFG Senior Writer | | | | 1. New England (15-0): At the beginning of the season, I thought the Patriots would be unbeatable. They are one week away from verifying that feeling. | |
| 2. Indianapolis Colts (13-2): Can someone please punch the ticket for the AFC Championship game, AKA, "The Real Super Bowl" part 2. | | | 3. Dallas Cowboys (13-2): Dallas may rest its starters, but with last years playoff loss still in the back of their minds, they would probably want to finish strong. | | | 4. Green Bay Packers (12-3): I don't know how the Packers will recover from being blown out by the Bears. That was a terrible showing. | | | 5. Jacksonville Jaguars (11-4): Patriots aside, the Jaguars are a team that no one wants to play this post season. | | | 6. San Diego Chargers (10-5): If Ladainian Tomlinson isn't the best running back of all-time, or at least considered in the top three, then FG needs to send me my pink slip, because I simply don't know football. | |
| 7. Pittsburgh Steelers (10-5): The Steelers were finally able to get back on track vs. the Rams, but would still like to finish strong heading into the post season. | | | 8. Cleveland Browns (9-6): It would be a tragedy for the Browns to miss this post-season. Maybe they should request a conference transfer. | |
| 9. Seattle Seahawks (10-5): For the first time in a long time, the Seahawks actually looked dominant in a victory (but the Ravens are just plain terrible). | | | 10. New York Giants (10-5): All doubters aside, Manning has led this Giants team to a better record, and to the post season, minus Tiki Barber. | | | 11. Tennessee Titans (9-6): As always, Vince Young consistently finds a way to keep his team competitive, as the Titans stare down a shot at the playoffs. | | | 12. Tampa Bay Buccaneers (9-6): I'll bet good money that Tampa won't make it past the second round of the playoffs.. | |
| 13. Washington Redskins (8-7): Win and you're in Washington!!! Win and you're in!!! Sean Taylor has to be smiling somewhere out there. | | | 14. Minnesota Vikings (8-7): The Vikings gave away their shot at controlling their own destiny. Now they must win and pray for a Redskins loss. | | | 15. New Orleans Saints (7-8): The Saints need a miracle to get into the playoffs, and typically, miracles don't happen when you expect them. Sorry Saints fans. | | | 16. Buffalo Bills (7-8): Kevin Everette is walking, who cares what happened on the field this past Sunday. No insult to athletes, but doctors should make millions. Try imagining a world without them. | | | | | |
