| ARIZONA_B+ Maybe not worth the 5th pick overall, but Levi Brown(T) will be a huge upgrade to an o-line that couldn't block for a middle school varsity team. Alan Branch(DT) is a second round pick with first round talent. Let's see if he can cash in on it. |
 | ATLANTA_B- This grade may be higher because of the amount of picks the Falcons had to work with(11). Jamaal Anderson(DE)should be ready to play by day one. As for Chris Houston(CB),Laurent Robinson(WR),Stephen Nicholas(OLB) and so on are all developmental.
|
 | BALTIMORE_C+ With Edwin Mulitalo(G) headed for Motown,Ben Grubbs(G) was the natural choice. Yamon Figurs(WR) is too skiny and Troy Smith(QB) is too short. We'll have to wait and see.
|
 | BUFFALO_A Marshawn Lynch(RB) is a stud! Paul Posluszny(OLB) is a promising overachiever. Trent Edwards(QB) will keep J.P.Losman on his toes. All in all expect a lot of rookie playing time.
|
 | CAROLINA_B- The Panthers had one glaring need coming into the draft:get Steve Smith(WR) some help. Hopefully they can find one in either Dwayne Jarrett(WR) or Ryne Robinson(WR). Charles Johnson(DE) will be their steal of the draft. |
 | CHICAGO_C- With the exception of Greg Olsen(TE) the Bears went with a lot of situational players. Then again, if Olsen dosen't improve his blocking he may sit more than anticipated. |
| | |
 | CINCINNATI_D+ Marvin Lewis loves those running backs! Kenny Irons(RB) in the second round was a wasted pick in an already crowded backfield of talented runners. Leon Hall(CB) was the safest pick but not the sexiest. |
 | CLEVELAND_A+ I knew you had it in you, Cleveland. You got three potential stars in Joe Thomas(T),Brady Quinn(QB),and Eric Wright(CB). In five years you'll be patting yourselves on the back. |
 | DALLAS_C- In one hand you have a young quarterback who is coming off as bad a final month to a season as there has ever been. In the other you've got two thirty-something receviers and one of them is T.O.('Nuff said). So you wait until the forth round to draft a recevier. Oh, and he played quarterback in college! Seriously?! |
 | DENVER_B- They got the DL help they so desperatly needed. They also put a lot of pressure on this rookie class.
|
 | DETROIT_A- Another wide receiver? Above all the rest (and there were many) Calvin Johnson(WR) seems like the right move. He is the best player in this draft. Period. Drew Stanton(QB) is underrated and will be a great starter down the line. |
 | GREEN BAY_B Justin Harrell(DT) will have no problem getting mounds of playing time. James Jones(WR) will fit nicely in the slot. Brandon Jackson(RB) would've been there in the third, maybe fourth rounds. No need to have reached. |
 | HOUSTON_B+ Amobi Okoye(DT) may be young(20) but he is as ready to play as any rookie out there. He's smart, strong and has tremendous upside. Jacoby Jones(WR) may well be starting before the year is out.
|
 | INDIANAPOLIS_C+ Workman like draft for the defending champs. Lucked up and found Daymeion Hughes(CB) still on the board at 95. Dungy isn't shy about playing rookies. Hughes and every other pick on this team better be ready.
|
 | JACKSONVILLE_D+ We are all aware that defense wins championships. Although, offense helps. Just ask those guys in Chi-town. The Jags have yet to draft a receiver who likes to get open at some point. Mike Walker(WR) and John Broussard(WR) are not the answer, either. |
 | KANSAS CITY_B Dwayne Bowe(WR) just might be the #1 receiver as a rookie. He's got the size and skills to be a success. Justin Medlock(K) will be an upgrade over Lawrence Tynes(K). |
 | MIAMI_D Really dropped the ball when they didn't draft Brady Quinn. Instead drafted a fast but often injured wide receiver and a QB who is hopefully the next Steve Young but probably the next Ty Detmer.
|
 | MINNESOTA_A- Had too many holes to fill every need but made the most out of each pick. Adrian Peterson(RB) and Sidney Rice(WR) are quality picks. Though, Marcus McCauley(CB), Brian Robinson(DE), and Aundrae Allison(WR) may be the best of the bunch.
|
 | NEW ENGLAND_B Considering how active they were during free agency, they quite possibly could've drafted nine high schoolers and still would've gotten a B. It's safe to say Belichick will have the entire class playing like pro bowlers in no time. |
 | NEW ORLEANS_B+ Usama Young(CB) is a sleeper. Antonio Pittman(RB) is a keeper. Robert Meachem(WR) may have his work cut out for him. Joe Horn(WR) has left some huge shoes to fill. That means Meachem will have to play at an all-pro level from day one. |
 | NEW YORK GIANTS_B- Expect to see a lot of Steve Smith(WR) if Amani Toomer(WR) can't get healthy. We all know Aaron Ross(CB) can play but NFL receivers are much faster than he is.
|
 | NEW YORK JETS_B+ Darrelle Revis(CB) and David Harris(LB) are two defenders I can't see not making an immediate impact. Lack of depth is a concern, though.
|
 | OAKLAND RAIDERS_A+ Al Davis' best draft in over a decade. The Raiders needed help more than the Beatles and they got at least four or five starters. They also got the steal of the draft in Michael Bush(RB). |
 | PHILADELPHIA_C- With no first round pick the Eagles thought Kevin Kolb(QB) would help provide the QB controversy they have always longed for in Philly. Tony Hunt(RB) will be good insurance for the oft injured Philly running backs.
|
 | PITTSBURGH_C+ Lawrence Timmons(LB) is no Joey Porter(LB). Then again, who is? Dallas Baker(TE) has raw skills but will need time to develop.
|
 | ST.LOUIS_B+ Brian Leonard(RB/FB) will be better than anyone will believe. Playing both RB/FB will get him on the field, somehow. Jonathan Wade(CB) has great upside.
|
 | SAN DIEGO_D+ Craig Davis(WR) may have been a reach but the Chargers needed a relable receiver. They got one in Davis. Traded up to get Eric Weddle(S) who was a bit of a reach. He'll have to be ready by training camp because he's the starter. |
 | SAN FRANSISCO_A By far the best offseason in football. Patrick Willis(LB) is sure to be the hardest working man on defense. Pairing him up with Manny Lawson(LB) will be a nightmare for opposing defenses. Joe Staley(T) will give, the always improving, Alex Smith(QB) more time to throw. Jason Hill(WR) will have ample opportunities to be the #2 receiver. |
 | SEATTLE_C- Not much to talk about here. Courtney Taylor(WR) and Jordan Kent(WR) are destined for the practice squad. Baraka Atkins(DT) is underrated and will have his work cut out to see the field.
|
 | TAMPA BAY_B+ An efficent draft to say the least. With Calvin Johnson serving time in the Motor City, Gaines Adams(DE) was the best selection. Arron Sears(T) will allow Jeff Garcia(QB) to run around a little longer. |
 | TENNESSEE_B- Chris Henry(RB) will push LenDale White(RB) for a starting job. They'll end up sharing time. Paul Williams(WR) and Chris Davis(WR) have an uphill battle to even make the team. |
 | WASHINGTON_B+ LaRon Landry(S) is the draft's best defender. He won't disappoint. H.B.Blades(LB) will be a great late rounder. Jordan Palmer(QB) is a good pick solely based on his gene pool. |
