San Francisco 49ers @ Minnesota Vikings
This should really be a great game. Brett Favre has looked great through two games even though he has not been asked to do much. Adrian Peterson is just on another level than the rest of the league and he should have another big day on his home turf. Another positive for the Vikings has been the play of their receivers. After not catching a pass in week one, Bernard Berrian made six catches last week in his first healthy game of the year. Also, first round pick Percy Harvin has not disappointed and looks like a true playmaker. The 49ers are getting a lot of love by the national media so far and I’m not so sure that it isn’t premature. Running back Frank Gore is a little banged up and while Shaun Hill never seems to lose, he has yet been asked to put the team on his back and win. Minnesota has one of the best rush defenses in the league so this should be a great test to see whether Hill is capable of leading the 49ers to victory with his arm. Pick: Vikings, 24-16
